PPR Certified
PPR Certified
The methodology mark applied to Private Practice Research outputs that meet the publication standards documented at /methodology.
What the mark means
A number qualifies as PPR Certified when:
- Every claim is verified against a primary source within the same paragraph or table.
- Figures are triangulated across multiple independent series where source coverage permits.
- The methodology version, source list, and any haircut factors applied are disclosed in the publication.
- The editorial log records the verifications performed.
- The methodology version under which the number is published has been reviewed by the Methodology Review Board.
Numbers that do not clear all five tests are not PPR Certified.
How it is governed
The Methodology Review Board reviews methodology versions, approves changes between versions, and signs the publication of every Quarterly and Annual Report under the published methodology version. The full standards are documented at /methodology. Citation conventions are at /citation-style.
